stop the knight
This is a GMTK Game Jam 2023 submission
The game is about a mushroom who will no longer deal with the knight winning and killing all his friends & family, so it plots against to hero to place him into danger. This means you are immune to danger; but the knight isn't. What will you do?
Controls: IJKL / Arrow keys to move, Spacebar / Z to jump, R to restart a level, + to zoom in / out
Tools used: Godot Game engine 3.5.2 (Game engine), OrgMaker (Music), Aseprite (Art), CTone (SFX)

Install instructions
Windows: Because the game is unsigned, a SmartScreen warning may appear when you run the app for the first time. To run the app click More Info > Run Anyway
MacOS: Because the game is unsigned, a warning will appear when you run the app for the first time. Either open System Preferences/Settings then go to Security & Privacy > General > Open Anyway, or right click the app icon in the Finder window and select Open from the menu. Then click Open in the confirmation dialog.

My feedback playing your game:
- maybe increase time of introduction text slightly (1sec)
- hero remains at bottom
- can't jump to top
- bug(annoying): I hit the hero from below(bottom left fence) and the hero kills me(falling down in state of being hit) while I stand in the fence(should be immun)
-bug: hero takes double hit whien falling onto the wooden shield
-bug: 'endless' loop of hits when hit in certain position( hero falling onto wooden shield)
-can't defeat hero

thanks for the feedback, although i don't know if i will be fixing these issues since i made this game as a jam submission. though i did want to clarify:
- "maybe increase time of introduction text slightly (1sec)" iirc it's around that time.. maybe 0.75
- "hero remains at bottom" if you're talking about the first level, that's an intentional decision; if you miss the opportunity you have to go down and hit the hero into danger
- "can't jump to top" intentional
- "bug (annoying): I hit the hero from below(bottom left fence) and the hero kills me(falling down in state of being hit) while I stand in the fence(should be immune)" intentional
- "bug: hero takes double hit when falling onto the wooden shield" intentional
- "bug: 'endless' loop of hits when hit in certain position (hero falling onto wooden shield)" intentional, at that point you have to try again
- "can't defeat hero" can you tell me what point you were when this issue arose?
